The 'Wolf Man' Remake Should Excite Audiences

Much like anything in movies, trends come and go, and as fickle as audiences can be, we often find ourselves doubling back on an unfashionable trend to such a degree that you can't call it unfashionable anymore. Maybe more chic, if anything. We've seen some terrible CGI in the past few years in major releases, but with Leigh Whannell's upcoming Wolf Man, the director is falling into a promotional trap that many filmmakers are today. Whannell has made a big thing about the design of his wolf, saying about his CGI-free design (via SFX magazine): "Maybe there are some people that won't like it because they love the traditional wolf too much, but that was the approach I wanted."
