'Severance' Star Addresses Season 2 Finale and What It Means for Season 3

Warning: The Following Contains Spoilers for Severance Season 2, Episode 10, "Cold Harbor"The Season 2 finale of Severance brought its sophomore run to a close with a surprisingly bloody ending and some truly shocking twists that even Gemma's Apple TV+ show Outie, actress Dichen Lachman, found "heartbreaking." One of those moments came at the episode's close when Innie Mark S. (Adam Scott) had to decide whether to escape through the exit door with his Outie's wife Gemma after successfully rescuing her from the testing floor and navigating her to safety, or whether to run off into the proverbial sunset with Helly R. (Britt Lower), who he has formed an emotional bond with during office hours. After an agonizing wait, the episode ends with Mark and Helly galloping through the halls of Lumon Industries while Gemma is tragically left on the outside looking in.
