If you grew up during the 2000s, then MTV was the channel to tune into everyday after school. Not so much to watch music videos (remember when MTV actually focused on music?), but to watch shows that revolved around pranks and celebrity lifestyles. It was sheer mindless entertainment -- and we couldn't get enough of it.
