'The Last of Us' Season 2 Gets HBO Premiere Date, Brand-New Posters

After a little over two years of waiting, The Last of UsSeason 2 finally has a release date. Fans of the post-apocalyptic drama can catch the second season premiere on Sunday, Apr. 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and Max, as the next chapter in Joel and Ellie's lives unfolds over the seven weeks after that. The first season of The Last of Us received critical acclaim, as Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann's adaptation of the first game not only stayed faithful to the strongest thematic points of the original, but also added new storylines and changed certain story beats so that it could work independently stronger from the 2013 PS3 game.
