'The Franchise' Canceled After One Season at HBO
'The Franchise' has become the first series of the year to officially be canceled, with the movie industry-based comedy being dropped by HBO.
HBO’s The Franchise seemed to be doing everything right when it aired its first episode back in October, but after failing to engage a sizable audience, the superhero cinematic universe satire has become a one-and-done series. Although many fans and critics had been holding out hope for a second season of the ensemble comedy, HBO has decided not to proceed with Season 2.
