'The White Lotus' Star Walton Goggins Bitten by Snake While Filming Episode 3
Goggins nearly had a panic attack and had to go to a hospital for treatment after getting bitten by a snake on the set of the HBO series.
In the most recent episode of The White Lotus, Rick, the surly character played by Walton Goggins on the hit series, finally gets his hands on some cannabis from a disreputable shop in town. Turns out the weed might've been laced with something else, because soon Rick has a meltdown inside a snake show and frees all the serpents on display in the lobby. Seems Rick has a bit of a soft side after all, and felt sorry for the animals, insisting they deserved to "live free." Unfortunately for Goggins, filming the episode with real snakes resulted in a very real trip to the hospital after he was bitten by one of the reptiles.
