Sheridan originally had other plans for the iconic 'Yellowstone' actor.
Cole Hauser, the actor known for his flawless performance as cowboy Rip Wheeler in Yellowstone, says that he wasn't always supposed to play the iconic character. Hauser's part is so good that it's hard to imagine anybody else playing the role of the loyal hand at the Dutton Ranch, but it turns out this wasn't Sheridan’s original plan.
