The 'Nobody 2' Director Made a Must-See Gruesome Action Movie in 2018
While we all wait for 'Nobody 2,' the new director of the Bob Odenkirk sequel has a film available on Netflix that is a must-see for action fans.
Released over three years ago, the action thriller Nobody marked a turning point in Bob Odenkirks career. Before that, the actor was most known for his more lighthearted or even comedic placements, such as being Saul Goodman on Breaking Bad (for which he garnered countless award nominations) or writing for Saturday Night Live. Russian film director Ilya Naishuller set out to make Odenkirk look like a bonafide tough guy and did just that. Even with pandemic restrictions in the way, speculation from the original cast, as well as all-around fanfare, gave rise to a confirmed sequel, Nobody 2, which has been filmed and is slated for release on August 15, 2025.
