We’re now over halfway through its second season, and it’s clear that The Last of Uswill be holding its title as the crown jewel of video game adaptations for the foreseeable future (sorry, Minecraft fans). What Neil Druckmann has accomplished in translating his seminal franchise to the small screen, in partnership with Chernobyl’s Craig Mazin, is nothing short of miraculous.
