On March 1, 2025, the Sheridan-written and Villeneuve-directed action thriller will be available on Netflix for your viewing pleasure. The pairing of these two generational talents resulted in one of 2015's best movies. Sheridan's feature film debut was a massive success from a critical perspective, earning a 92% on Rotten Tomatoes. Audiences also loved the tense action thriller, awarding Sicario an "A-" Cinema Score. The film even managed to be a moderate financial success, garnering $85 million at the box office against a $30 million budget.
