New 'Superman' Image Has David Corenswet & Rachel Brosnahan in Destroyed Metropolis

While fans anxiously await a second trailer for James Gunn's Superman, a new image has been unveiled that might give longtime DC fans some déjà vu from a bygone era of the franchise. Once upon a time, there was an uproar about the then-controversial third act of Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, which featured Metropolis getting heavily destroyed by Zod and his army. It seems Superman will be destroying a bit of the fictional city once again, but probably not on the same destructive scale. However, one thing remains constant in each adaptation — Clark and Lois are always meant to find each other in the rubble.
