Shopping List
- 4 – 6×6 – 8 ft.
- 13 – 2×6 – 10 ft.
- 4 – 2×6 – 8 ft.
- 11 – 2×2 – 10 ft.

- 4 – 6×6 post brace
- 16 – 9 in. – carriage bolts, nuts, washers
- 3 in. deck screws
Cutting List
- 4 – 6×6 – 8 ft.
- 13 – 2×6 – 10 ft.
- 4 – 2×6 – 48 in.
- 4 – 2×6 – 40-5/16 in.
- 11 – 2×2 – 10 ft.
- 4 – 6×6 – 8 ft.
Cut four 6×6 post to 8 ft. long. Install to a 8 ft.x8 ft. area as shown in drawing above, measure and make sure area is squared. Secure post to the floor with 6×6 post base.
- 8 – 2×6 – 10 ft.
Cut eight 2×6 boards to 10 ft. long. Cut the ends of the boards as shown on drawing above.
Install four 10 ft. 2×6 boards to the front and back of the pergola 6×6 posts, as shown on drawing above.
Use clamps to hold the 2×6 boards in place, drill holes through 2×6 boars and posts, secure boards with 9 in. carriage bolts.
Install four 10 ft. 2×6 boards to the sides of the pergola, as shown on drawing above.
Use clamps to hold the 2×6 boards in place, drill holes through boards and post, and secure with 9 in. carriage bolts.
- 5 – 2×6 – 10 ft.
Cut five 2×6 boards to 10 ft. long. Cut the ends of the boards as shown on drawing above.
Install the five 10 ft. 2×6 boards as shown on drawing above.
Pre-drill holes and screw 3 in. deck screws through the side of the top board and into the bottom board.
- 4 – 2×6 – 48 in.
Front and back corner brace. Cut four 2×6 boards to 48 in. long for the front and back brace. Cut boards as shown on drawing above.
- 4 – 2×6 – 40-5/16 in.
Cut four 2×6 boards to 40-5/16 in. long for the corner side brace. Cut boards as shown on drawing above.
Pre-drill holes and install the 2×6 corner brace using 3 in. deck screws.
- 11 – 2×2 – 10 ft.
Cut eleven 2×2 boards to 10 ft. long. Space out boards 1 ft.
Pre-drill all holes and screw 3 in. deck screws through the top of the 2×2 boards and into the 2×6 bottom boards.
